Formerly the site of Asbury Park's renown jazz venue and art gallery El Lobo Negro, this storefront currently sports a "Granite Concepts" sign. While a new permanent tenant is sought, Garden of Joy has opened its Garden Marketplace in the space, a warm and eclectic co-operative featuring unique products, plants and the works of creative individuals. As El Lobo Negro, the site for years featured live jazz performances every Friday night, a weekly event that had a large, close-knit family of supporters among area residents.
